Rituals help build and strengthen connections among team members and convey your culture’s values and priorities. They show up in welcoming and onboarding activities—how new team members are brought into the fold. They are present in gatherings and meetings, whether they energise or drain. Celebrations and rewards reflect what gets recognised and how. Decision-making and conflict resolution show how challenges are approached.

When used deliberately, rituals are a powerful tool for shaping culture. Yet, in many workplaces, they’re underestimated and undervalued.
