culture is doable

Over the past 25 years of working in, on, and around culture and leadership, one truth has stood out: while nearly all leaders believe culture is important, far too few feel confident or equipped to change it.

Many leaders see culture change as a big, organisation-wide initiative—something separate from their everyday work.

But that’s a myth I’m passionate about busting.

Here’s the truth: Culture is actionable. Culture is doable.
You don’t need a massive program to shift your culture. You just need to focus on how you lead, because your everyday actions shape the culture around you.

Culture isn’t abstract. It’s what you:

  • Do—the decisions you make and the behaviours you model.
  • Say—the stories you share and the conversations you have.
  • Celebrate—the rituals, symbols, and successes you elevate.

When you focus on these daily moments, you create meaningful cultural shifts that ripple across your team and organisation.

Leaders, the power to shift culture is already in your hands. What will you do today to make culture happen?
