If you’ve ever visited the Drucker Institute’s website, you’ll notice an entire page dedicated to things Peter Drucker never said. Among the most misattributed quotes is the classic: “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.”

But let’s be honest: no matter who said it first, the truth still stands.

Culture shapes how strategy is created, communicated, and executed. It determines whether teams align or fragment, whether plans are actioned or ignored. You can have the most brilliant strategy in the world, but without the right culture, it’s just a wish list.
