Homogeneous culture is a myth. It's not a yoghurt.

Your Culture Is Not a Monoculture
Homogeneous culture? It’s a myth.
Cultures are rich and complex, filled with stories—myths and legends, heroes and villains. But here’s the truth: subcultures aren’t the villain.
Healthy cultures don’t shy away from difference; they embrace it. Vibrant subcultures add depth and diversity, bringing people together through shared values and unique perspectives.
Think of it this way: a person who’s comfortable in their own skin isn’t threatened by others who are different. The same goes for a strong culture—it doesn’t see subcultures as a threat but as a source of strength.
So, for the love of subcultures, don’t weaponise difference. Celebrate it.
Because when you embrace what makes each part of your culture unique, you create an organisation that’s truly united.
