Be Where You Are: Balancing Presence and Responsibility
Busy, distracted, balancing the daily demands… Sound familiar? Often, we run from one thing to the next, half-focused on one task while our mind spins on something else. The result? We’re not fully present anywhere, and overwhelm isn’t far behind.
Today, I’m out of the office, spending the day in a full-day workshop. Meanwhile, my team is handling a heavy workload and high stress levels. I feel torn. I’m proud of them and want to be there to support them, but I also know they’ve got this.
It’s a delicate balance we all face—trusting others while giving ourselves permission to focus on where we need to be.
So today, I’m choosing presence. I’m giving myself permission to be fully in the room, with the people I’m with, knowing my team will handle things in my absence.
