Explore. Experience. Extend.

When I work with leaders and leadership teams, I encourage a three-step journey:
Explore. Experience. Extend.

It begins with exploration—being curious and open to new possibilities. From there, it’s about experiencing—trying things on, testing ideas, and engaging fully. And then, the stretch: pushing to extend beyond the familiar and into growth.

I love using experiments as a framework for leadership learning. Experiments invite leaders to try, test, and learn without fear of failure. They create space for curiosity and discovery, leading to meaningful, emergent insights—the kind of learning that matters most.

The best learning for leaders and executives isn’t prescriptive; it’s emergent. It comes from being open and aware, noticing patterns and connections, and having the courage to rethink and unlearn.

So, ask yourself:

  • Are you exploring, experiencing, and experimenting?
  • Or are you just existing?

Leadership growth happens when you embrace the journey of discovery and stretch beyond what you think you already know.
